The grand sum of Debra's appearance on the show was to relieve her of her duties as the Rock's manager. What the hell is going on here? Images are courtesy of Wrestling Screenshots

THURSDAY, MARCH 08, 2001
Backstage, Debra spoke to Mr. McMahon about the way he treated Trish Stratus and the fact that he essentially tricked her into managing the Rock. Vince apologized and said that Trish "is trash" and he got carried away, and explained that he paired her with the Rock as a reward for her loyalty and hard work. Debra said she would continue as the Rock's manager and had a talk with Steve in his lockerroom. He said he only wants Debra to be happy and knows she's a great manager.

Later, the Rock (how many times have I said that name now?) said that while he has no problem with Debra personally, and respects her, he doesn't need her. But in the end, he'll keep her around anyway, and Debra accompanied him to the ring for his match.

THE ROCK vs. RIKISHI, HAKU
Debra, oddly, didn't even attempt to interfere in the match—but Rocky wins with a Rock Bottom on Haky. Afterwards, Rikishi and Haku did a number on him, then backed a frightened Debra into the corner. While Haku held her in place, his partner set her up for the "Stinkface". But once again showing his impeccable timing, Steve Austin ran to the ring and took them both out. Too bad Debra stayed in the ring checking on her charge...which didn't seem to sit well with her husband. (cue dramatic chord)

THURSDAY, JANUARY 04, 2001
Debra confronted Steve Austin in the parking lot, telling him not to do to Stephanie what he did to William Regal. He'd not only lose his job and his career, he could also go to jail. Steve didn't seem to be listening and Debra disappeared.
