"Mr. McMahon walked into the Friendly Tap Pub, where he was met by Debra. He asked her how Stone Cold was doing, and she said she hadn't seen him act this way in a long time. The Federation chairman then went up to Austin and told him that he was sorry about what happened on SmackDown!" — From WWF.com (full results/photos/videos)

Later on, while Steve is playing pool with Debra, he watches the carnage going on at the arena and snaps; he runs out of the bar and over to the arena to help "Team WWF" kick some ass.

MONDAY, JULY 9, 2001
Kurt Angle joins Steve, Vince and Debra and has come bringing presents. None for Debra though. The gifts turn out to be deputy star badges, to go along with their cowboy hats. Steve gives his to Debra. He then gets Kurt psyched for his match against Booker T later that night. Debra doesn't really do much this week...

Debra, Steve, Vince and Kurt are sitting around their dressing room gabbing when Torrie Wilson interrupts. She "borrows" Vince to talk to him about possibly getting her signed with the WWF—leaving the other three to argue amongst themselves.

She might not have done anything groundbreaking but Debra appeared on the show at least six times! Woohoo! It's a start, anyway ;)

Steve is not happy that Vince wasn't at the PPV last night. He doesn't care that WCW's invading, he wanted Vince to be there. Vince apologizes and the two embrace (much to Debra's disgust). Later, while the three of them were sitting around gabbing, Kurt Angle appeared and spoke to Vince, who invited him (I guess?) to stay.

But Steve pulls Vince aside and says he thought it was just going to be "[him], [Vince] and Debra hanging out". Vince points out that the King of the Ring coronation ceremony is next (woohoo!) and it might traumatize Kurt if he saw it alone. Kurt discovers the celery.

Then, when Booker T makes remarks from WWF New York, Steve — at Debra and Vince's encouraging — decides to go down there and kick his ass. He drags poor Kurt along with him but the two get stuck in traffic and by the time they get there, Shane and Booker have already left. In fact...they're at the arena already and they ambush Vince! Much fun was had by all...except maybe Vince...

After a confrontation with Spike Dudley and Molly Holly, Steve is noticably upset. He says he needs someone to talk to, someone who will listen. Debra says she'll listen. Steve says he needs someone who understands him. Debra says she understands him. Steve looks at her and asks what she knows about being a champion. Debra points out that she's a former Women's Champion, which sends Steve into hysterics before he leaves their room.

Debra is left standing alone wondering what Steve's problem is. [WWF.com pictures]

While entering the arena, Debra and Steve run into Mick Foley and Linda McMahon, who inform Steve that he'll have to face both Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho at Judgment Day in a Triple Threat title match. Steve is not amused. As a result he stays in a bad mood all night and even takes some of his anger out on an innocent Debra, who merely offered him a carrot stick and some broccoli. [WWF.com pics]

First Steve makes Debra carry all their luggage (while he carries his belt). Then he insults women right in front of his wife. THEN he asks her to find out from Mick what the big surprise is. So poor Debra trots off and finds Mick.

No matter how much she charms him, Mick won't tell her what the secret is—but he DOES autograph a copy of his new book ("Foley is Good", available at bookstores everywhere). [more RAW pics]
